IBEC's regional structure ensures that members are represented on local and regional issues. Outside of our head office in Dublin, we have offices in Waterford, Cork, Limerick, Galway and Donegal, each of which:
- provides a local comprehensive human resource and industrial relations service to members
- lobbies for measures that encourage local enterprise and investment
- provides a forum for networking.
In recent years, IBEC advocacy was central to securing many regional developments, including completion of the inter-urban motorway network and improved broadband coverage and speed.
Regional executive committees
IBEC has eight regional executive committees (RECs) which comprise senior people in local business. The REC ensures that all policy developments have an appropriate regional balance. Each REC president sits on IBEC’s regional presidents council which ensures that policy and representational requirements for the regions are reinforced in IBEC’s national focus.
Please contact the team in each region for more information.
