For the second year, the Ibec research unit will conduct all pay surveys online. Each member company, instead of receiving a hard copy questionnaire by post, will receive a link via email, which will direct you to your personal survey questionnaire. The decision to collect all of our data online was made as a result of member feedback and questionnaires will be sent to all members during January 2013. Based on member feedback we have made some changes to our data collection process.
All the usual rules of confidentiality and data security apply and we have tried to make sure that completing pay information online is as simple as possible.
- We have reduced the number of compulsory questions to enable you to move quickly through the online questionnaire.
- You can complete part of the survey, close it down and return to it later or when you have additional information to hand.
- On the top left of each page is a link to a questionnaire map, which gives information on the questions covered in the survey, and allows respondents to see in advance what information is required on the questionnaire.
- You will only see questions that are relevant to you and will only be asked for pay information for job titles that you have identified as being relevant to your organisation.
